250 ml sparkling water
4 fresh mint leaves
1 tsp matcha tea powder
50 ml hot water
1 handful ice cubes

Mint Matcha Lemonade (High Protein)

The combination of grassy, clean matcha with sweet and tangy lemons is a refreshing pairing in this matcha lemonade. Our lemonade clear whey makes it all possible, providing a high-protein backdrop for the soothing flavours of mint & matcha.

Preparation

  • Combine the lemonade clear whey and sparkling water in a jug or protein shaker. Stir until the powder has dissolved then set aside so the foam can subside.
  • Meanwhile, tear up the mint leaves and add to a large glass. Bash with the end of a wooden spoon or rolling pin to crush the leaves (this is called ‘muddling’).
  • In a small bowl, add the hot water to the matcha powder and whisk until the tea is mixed in and no lumps remain.
  • Add the ice cubes to the glass and pour in the lemonade. Top with the matcha and serve.
  • Enjoy!
