Chocolate Banana Baked Oats

like having chocolate cake for breakfast!

If you like your breakfast on the sweeter side, look no further than these chocolate banana baked oats. Using our instant oats means we can make a smooth batter which bakes into a fluffy, cake-like texture. With banana whey protein, mashed banana and drizzled with chocolate-hazelnut spread.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180C fan.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the oats, banana whey protein, cocoa powder and baking powder. Add the egg white, mashed banana and water then stir until you get a smooth batter.
  • Pour the mixture into a small ovenproof dish, making sure there's some room for it to rise, then bake for 12-15 minutes, until the oats are cooked through.
  • Remove the baked oats from the oven and, whilst still warm, drizzle with the protein cream and sprinkle on the chocolate chips then serve. You can optionally top the oats with some sliced banana and Greek yogurt, too.
  • Enjoy!
For a more chocolatey flavour, swap out the banana whey for our chocolate whey protein. You can also try drizzling our salted caramel protein cream onto the baked oats, instead of hazelnut.
